Pangea Ink regularly hosts guest artists from across Latin America, the United States, and Europe. The studio runs on the belief that the best way to keep growing is to keep inviting people in — artists whose styles, techniques, and visual vocabularies expand what’s possible for our clients and our own resident team.
This page is where we announce upcoming guest residencies, highlight the artists currently in the studio, and share how to book before their Panama City window closes.
What a Guest Artist Residency Means
When a guest artist joins Pangea Ink, they’re working under the same conditions as our resident artists: full studio access, our equipment standards, our hygiene protocols, and our client communication systems. A tattoo from a Pangea Ink guest artist is a Pangea Ink tattoo — no exceptions on quality or professionalism.
Guest residencies typically run 1–2 weeks. During that window, the artist takes bookings from our existing client base and brings their own clients who may travel specifically for the visit. It’s one of the reasons Panama City has become a legitimate destination on the international tattoo circuit.
Styles We’ve Hosted
Our guest artist history spans a wide range of styles:
- Japanese traditional (Irezumi) — full body suit artists and sleeve specialists working in traditional Japanese imagery and composition
- Neo-traditional — bold outlines, rich color, contemporary subjects treated with a nod to traditional tattoo structure
- Geometric and dotwork — precision mandala work, sacred geometry, pointillist shading
- Watercolor and abstract — loose, painterly approaches to tattooing that feel different from any other style
- Color realism — photo-realistic work with full color palettes, demanding in execution and striking in result
- Script and lettering — custom lettering specialists who treat typography as a dedicated discipline
How to Book a Guest Artist
Guest artist announcements go out through our Instagram and WhatsApp broadcast first — these are the fastest ways to know when someone is coming and to get on their books before they fill.
To book a guest artist:
- Follow us on Instagram (@pangeaink) for announcements
- Message us on WhatsApp when a residency is announced — spots fill quickly
- Have a clear idea of what style and scale of work you want — guest artists’ booking windows are short, so consultations are efficient
Interested in a Guest Residency at Pangea Ink?
We’re selective about who we invite into the studio — the criteria are quality, professionalism, and a style that genuinely adds something our resident team doesn’t already cover. If you’re a tattoo artist with an international portfolio and you’re interested in a Panama City residency, reach out through our contact form with your portfolio link and a brief introduction.
Panama City is increasingly on the radar of serious tattoo artists as a destination worth visiting. The studio, the city, the client base, and the travel connections make it a residency that tends to book solidly and leave artists wanting to return.
Current Guest Schedule
Upcoming guest artists and residency dates are announced as they’re confirmed. Check back here or follow our Instagram for the latest. If you have a specific style in mind that isn’t covered by our resident team, let us know — we take guest bookings based on client demand as much as anything else.
